Dr. Gehyigon-Wallace is a distinguished board- certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She is not only a dedicated mental health expert but also a strong advocate for Integrative Health. As a board-certified practitioner, Dr. Gehyigon- Wallace’s expertise extends to diagnosing, treating, and prescribing for a wide range of mental health conditions, including Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, Mood Disorders, Addiction Medicine, Medical Weight Loss, Geriatric Care Services, Prenatal and Postnatal Mental Health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health, all while seamlessly integrating principles of Integrative Health into her practice.
Dr. Gehyigon-Wallace has expertly delivered care to diverse patient populations for over 15 years in a wide array of essential healthcare settings. Her experience spans settings such as outpatient clinics, schools, community mental health centers, private practice, substance abuse treatment centers, among others. Her holistic approach combines conventional psychiatric care with complementary therapies, promoting a balanced and patient-centered approach to mental health.
Dr. Gehyigon-Wallace’s mission is to understand each patient’s unique symptoms, background, environmental stressors, and strengths with unwavering compassion and patience, embracing the power of Integrative Health to foster overall well-being. She holds a DNP from Frontier Nursing University, a MSN from Jacksonville University and a BNS, St. Catherine University.

With a passion for mental health and over 6 years of Psychiatric, Medical Surgical, Pediatric, and Mental Health Nursing experience, I am committed to providing compassionate and evidence-based care to individuals seeking support for their mental well-being.
My Approach: In my practice, I believe in “meeting my patients where they are”. I strive to create a safe and supportive space for my patients to explore their unique challenges, educate, and work collaboratively toward healing and recovery.
Beyond My Role: Balancing work with my personal passions is essential to my overall well-being. I am excited to embark on this journey with Martha’s Open Hands and look forward to contributing to our shared mission of improving mental health within our community.
